Brooke started dance classes today! She’s taking a ballet, tap, and tumbling class at Stepping Out.

Brooke is doing much better in Tigers. But she still misses her Anna and Megan.
Kelli recently talked about it with Anna’s mom. Anna, we found out, is also missing Brooke. So Anna’s mom wanted to get them together for a playdate!
Anna’s grandmother picked them up from the CDC, took them to McDonals’s for breakfast. They then headed back to Anna’s house to bake cookies and play.
For Christmas Anna gave Brooke a framed picture of the two of them on their day together! The frame says - Brooke and Anna - Friends Forever.
Brooke carried it around the house for days and has showed it off to everyone that came over!

For her birthday my parents gave Brooke a Fisher Price digital camera. She absolutely loves it!
She has been taking picture since her birthday of everything and everyone! And she’s becoming quite the photographer. She has advanced to giving direction to us and posing us in different ways! She even told me not to smile so I would look like I was working!
Lost Friends

Moving to the Tigers room has been a challenge. While Brooke loves her new teacher, Miss Jennifer, she is missing her friends.
Since the Honeysuckle room (new born room), Brooke has been in the same class with Megan and Anna. Ask her who her best friends are, and she’ll tell you Megan and Anna. Her other good friend in Bears was Kate. All three - Megan, Anna, and Kate - were moved to Penquins. Brooke only has a few of her Bears in the Tigers room.
She’s really been missing Anna and Megan. We’ve had a few sleepless nights with Brooke having nightmares. She has even started having night terrors. For the first few weeks of class she was very sad-almost depressed.
We’re working with Miss Jennifer and the other staff at the CDC. Hopefully Brooke will adjust soon.
New Class

Brooke has left the Bear’s class behind and moved up to the Pre-School Room at the LMC Child Development Center. Thanks to Miss Gloria and Miss Ann in the Bears! Brooke loved her Bears class and her teachers.
We’re excited to see what she’ll learn and do in the Tigers room.

Can you believe it?
Brooke turned 3 today!
She had a great time this weekend at her birthday party. We have such great friends! Thanks to everyone for coming to the party. We appreciate you being there and are grateful for all the gifts you all brought Brooke.

After weeks of dread, Kelli and I finally moved Brooke to her new bed on May 17, 2007. She was definitely read, we were not!
Brooke is very proud of the new bed!
